About the Role
Position Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Family Worker to join our Head Start team. The Family Worker will serve as a vitai link between the program, families, and the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build trusting, respectful relationships with families.
• Conduct home visits and family conferences as required by Head Start guidelines.
• Assist families in developing Family Partnership Agreements and setting achievable goals.
• Connect families to community resources such as housing, health, employment, and education services.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support children's developmental progress.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation.
• Encourage and support family involvement in the program.
• College degree required or FDC (Family Development Credential)
